Interactive Software Platforms at HITEC Next Generation Software Platforms for Business Centers, Digital Signage, PC/iMac/iPad/Mobile Device Concierge Applications, Remote Printing and More – All From One Vendor |
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 22, 2010) — Uniguest™, a provider of print, technology and specialized services globally for the lodging, restaurant and healthcare industries, announced today that it has unveiled its next generation of software at HITEC 2010, booth 1343. Exhibits opened today and will run through June 24 in Orlando, Fla. “With the recent acquisition of a major competitor, Uniguest has established itself as the dominant vendor in the public computing space: hotel business centers, lobby PCs, boarding pass kiosks and remote printing stations,” said Uniguest’s co-founder and CEO Shawn Thomas. “Today, we are about providing our customers with applications that can be cross-platform, hardware agnostic, secure and customized. And that is what we are showing at HITEC.” Over the past 18 months, Uniguest has become more than a public computer vendor. A merger and two acquisitions have Uniguest in the position to provide customers with in-room computer solutions, digital signage, print solutions, and kiosk security and management. “Our clients today are thinking much differently than even five years ago,” said Harry Ganter, Uniguest’s director of IT. “They want one vendor who can integrate and support cross-platform software applications to solve their global needs, both technologically and geographically. Uniguest develops certain software in-house and partners with best-of-breed software partners, as well. Our software partners have robust solutions that are time tested, and Uniguest has a reputation for being quick to market with reliable, innovative solutions. ” Uniguest
is showcasing its newest Concierge Station
Board™ platform developed by Thinix®. The Concierge Station is
cross-platform
and can be accessed by an iMac, PC, iPad or mobile app. Additionally, Uniguest will be debuting MyMessenger™, a cloud-computing application for the creation, development, management and playing of digital content. MyMessenger can port to digital signage, kiosks and in-room hardware solutions via the web.
